one
Prepare your coffee. To prepare a frappe, you will need approximately 1 1/2 cups of coffee. As a general rule, use 4 tablespoons of coffee for 170 ml (6 ounces) of water or 1 1/2 cups of filtered cold-concentrated coffee. You can use fresh or instant coffee. These are some of the things you should consider:
The term "filtered coffee" refers to coffee brewed in coffee machines using roasted and ground coffee beans. It is a fresh coffee with a variety of characteristics that may not be found in instant coffee, as sweet and distinctive flavors.
The term "instant coffee" refers to a coffee prepared and dried (usually by freezing) in a dehydrated state. Instant coffee is recommended as an alternative to fresh coffee.
Use a stronger coffee to give your frappé a more concentrated flavor.

Filter the coffee cold from one day to the next (optional). Filter coffee cold is a process that requires approximately 12 hours. To make cold filtered coffee, do the following:
Add 1 cup of coarsely ground coffee beans in a large bowl and pour 4 cups of cold water.
Stir until combined, cover and store in the refrigerator for 12 hours.
Remove the bowl from the refrigerator and place a strainer or coffee filter over another bowl. Pour the coffee over the pan slowly and let the liquid seep through it. Get rid of the coffee waste and remove the bin.
Cold filtered coffee can be very strong. Dilute it in a ratio of 1 part coffee to 3 parts water or 1 part coffee to 2 parts water. Refrigerate for a period of up to 1 week.
3
Filter the coffee cold on ice (optional). This method is called Japanese style ice cream and you can prepare it faster than with the previous method. To filter frozen coffee Japanese style, you should do the following:
Use a kitchen scale to measure 240 ml (8 ounces) of ice.
Weigh approximately 2 grams of freshly roasted coffee for every 30 ml (1 oz) of frozen coffee you prefer.
Grind coffee beans on medium term. Use approximately 30 grams of coffee per 470 ml (16 ounces) of frozen coffee. One spoonful has approximately 5 grams.
Place the ice in a large glass cup and secure a coffee filter on top.
Filter the coffee in hot and pour it over the filter in the ice cup.
It is possible that not all the ice will melt. However, in the end you should get a cup of iced coffee.
4
Add sweetener to your coffee. Adding sugar to your coffee while it is still hot will help you dissolve it faster. [4] Pour two tablespoons of sugar, honey, stevia or any sweetener you prefer.
If you filtered the coffee in a coffee machine, you can place the sweetener directly in the coffee maker and stir.
5
Cools your coffee . If you start with freshly filtered hot coffee, the fastest method to cool it will be in about 20 minutes. To cool the coffee, you should try the following:
Use an ice tray: pour the coffee in an ice tray and place it in the freezer until it freezes. This method will take a few hours. However, you will get a drink with a stronger flavor because you will not need to add more ice.
Use a saucepan: once you have filtered the coffee, pour it into a large, shallow pan and let it rest. This method spreads the hot liquid over a large surface, which allows it to cool more quickly than in a coffee maker. This procedure can cool the coffee significantly after approximately 20 minutes.
You can also place the pan in the freezer for about 20 minutes to cool completely.
Another thing you can do is to cool the pan previously to speed up the process.
6
Prepare the frappe. Add the iced coffee to a blender and pour 1/2 cup of milk. You can use regular milk, soy, almonds or any type of milk that you prefer.
7
Add the ice (optional). If you chilled coffee in an ice tray, you will not need to add ice. Start by adding approximately 1 1/2 cups of ice.
Remember, the more ice you add, the more coffee will be diluted, which will result in a frappe with less flavor.
8
Blend the mixture until it is homogeneous. Place the lid on the blender and blend the mixture until it is homogeneous and add ice if you want a thicker consistency.
9
Arm your frappe. Pour the frappé mixture into a tall glass. If you wish, you can cool the glass in the freezer previously for a few minutes. Place a pinch of whipped cream on your frappé and enjoy it with a straw!
